Thanks for your reply. So as I understood, the OpenGL 4.0 support as well as OpenCL GPU part is impossible for 2nd generation cards even if the developers really wanted to ?
What about full Support up to OpenGL 3.3, is that possible (right now in EVEREST it shows 70% up from OpenGL 3.1 (3.2 and 3.3)(for OpenGL 4.0 it shows 15% support) ?

Is intel 520 SSD hardware encryption truly enabled ?
Hi,
I bought month ago an intel 520 SSD 120Gb for my new Sony Vaio SVE1713D1EW Laptop.
Activated ATA password before OS installation and I just realizes that self encryption was not enabled :
- Hardware encryption shown as deactivated in SSD toolbox (bit 69-4 see below)
- Content readable in external usb box without password
Is that normal ? Has someone else encountered same experience ?
How can I activate self hardware encryption ?

Intel Pro 1000 MT Dual Port - Windows 8
Dears,
I have a windows 8 that i need to use a LAG or TEAM with my nic Intel Pro 1000MT Dual Port, but does not have a drive, i try install a driver to windows 7 , the message appears "there is no intel adapters on your computer".
The basic driver it's ok, but when i try install a ANS , occurred the message up - " There is no intel adapters on your computer".
Someone help me?

I am also having the same problem,
I am using a Intel N-6235 card with a DN2800MT motherboard with a fresh Windows 8 x64 install using the Intel PROset/Wireless Software 15.6.1 and My WiFi Dashboard 15.05.5000.0219, I end up with the lite version of My WiFi Dashboard with no option for local Hotspot.
Everything looks good in device manager
So Please tell me Intel what am I doing wrong?

WiFi connection crash upon access to router NAS
It is about WiFi client, Vista 32Bits running on Asus V1S with Intel WiFi 4965AGN, driver latest version.
Connected to FritzBox 7390 router via WLAN, 5.2GHz. An external USB disk is connected to this router.
Router provides also some internal RAM/flash as NAS.
Client connects to this NAS through Microsoft Printer- and Filesharing.
Initially all is fine. Client boots up and connects to router.
It can connect to internet and connect to routers internal NAS.
But if user tries to copy some file from internal NAS to local disk
the WLAN connection crashes after about 1 minute.
Router is no more available. Internet connection does not work any more.
Reset of client is necessary to restore.
After the problem occurs some other WiFi client has no problems to communicate with router, its NAS and internet.
So, the client in focus seems to be definitely faulty.
Issue reproducible also if to access to USB external disk connected to router and available for clients as NAS.
There were no probs when FritzBox 7270 did the job in this network few months ago instead of addressed FB 7390.
Described problem did never occure while just working in internet.
Sometimes it is sufficient enough just to point with mouse cursor onto icons of files placed on NAS
in order to run into the described troubles.
What can be the possible reason of these probs?
How to fix it?
How to figure the root cause?

Although a windows re install wont solve the issue but it will reset my drivers all back to zero and would force me to install them in the right order. Plus fix a bunch of issues with this old install.
However late last night I did manage to get the widi to work with just downloading all the same drivers again and installing over top the old ones.
However the main issue now is I cannot get any thing to display on my Sony TV anymore. My GF was playing Diablo 3 and tried to play it on the TV via the HDMI out.. She changed the res to something the TV cannot display and now it's not working just a black screen. I cannot seem to get Intel's display utility to recognize the Sony tv anymore. This has become my main issue.
My lappy's HDMI port still works on all other monitors / displays. The Sont TV still is working properly because it will display other devices that are connected to that port. I wish people would ask me for help before playing with my settings. Because I have no idea what she changed or how to change it back.

Same problem here. I've got an Intel Core i3 2350M based laptop (HD 3000 graphics) and cannot run these games. I've heard that HD 4000 got a driver update with this problem fixed, but with the latest HD 3000 driver (version 9.17.10.3062) games still crash... Although the release dates are the same for both drivers and the only difference is version number (15.31.3.64.3071 for HD 4000).

Can you run the xbootmgr tool (can be selected as only component from latest Windows SDK) with:

without BSOD?
I'll check out that link of yours anyway but the fact that the bug is present even in the brand new generation (well.......) 12.6.0.1028 drivers is a concern. Makes it impossible to view driver stalls/issues in xperfview during boot since no log is created due to the 0x7E BSOD.

I don't have any information on which systems show this behavior, ie. if it's platform independent and totally driver-dependent (ie. doesn't matter if it's 5-, 6-, 7-series chipsets as long as the drivers used are the SCSI-filter ones using IaStorF.sys).
EDIT: Cleaned the system according to that guide, running solely on MSAHCI, every trace of IaStorA and IaStorF is completely gone from registry and any windows folder. Will try xbootmgr trace and see if it is still crashing.

Re: internet connection dropping once connection with Intel WiDi
The adapter FW gets updated upon the installation of the latest WiDi driver.
Current version for the PTV2000 is 3.5.31.0, and can be seen under the properties tab of the WiDi window.
There it shows the version and it also states that the FW is up to date.
If WiDi is compatible only with certain latest versions of various WiFi routers, as it is implied by a post above, Intel must state so. But it shouldn't be the case.
From what I see so far from this "WiFi OR WiDi" behavior, it appears as if the Intel drivers are attempting to have exclusive control of the adapter and the WiDi wins sometimes and the WiFi wins at other times.
In my attempts to find what is going on, I encountered the situation where the WiFi adapter can not connect to any routers/networks. None appear in the list of router networks and multiple attempts to refresh by pressing F5 are not successful. Only after I ran the Win8 built-in Troubleshooter it indicated that the WiFi adapter was disabled.
So it appears from all this that the Intel WiFi and WiFi drivers do not get along with each other but are fighting for exclusive control of the hardware.
They work together once at first but after that they no longer work together. Perhaps some switch is changed in the software or the registry that causes this.

Reset your WiDi TV adapter. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to do it. What brand and model is your TV adapter, Netgear, Belkin, or D-Link???
Also turn off your notebook and restart it.
Do the same with the Sony TV but unplug it from the power and let it stay with no power for a few minutes.
If there is a way to re-set the TV to the original factory settings, do it. That usually appears in the TV's setup menu but it may not be an option in some TVs.
Also, follow the instructions above in my other post: Clean your PC, etc.
