Wireless network speed is slower than the maximum in Windows 7 - Super User

This was the answer on a Samsung ATIV 700T.  My machine and other's had problems especially after a full operating and files reset & reinstall.  Most of the answers for the Samsung were to get a software driver manually from Samsung and install it manually (which I did and I am using currently and it didn't make it worse) but that didn't solve the brightness problem.  I've now ALSO turned off adaptive display brightness or ambient light sensor, it's possible to do this from the Samsung Control Center (Adaptive Brightness > Off) (http://www.samsung.com/us/support/supportOwnersHowToGuidePopup.do?howto_guide_seq=5394&prd_ia_cd=N0000137&map_seq=31685&regDt=20110415165100page_gb=D&model_name=NP-Q530type_ia_cd=N0000125subtype_ia_cd=N0000137row_index=1) or within Windows 8 with no additional manufacturers software, open Charms (Windows Start Key) search Power Options.  In the Power Options dialog > Change plan settings > In this dialog Change advanced power settings > In this dialog expand Display >  and it's called Enable adaptive brightness BUT DISABLE it.

Immediate the brightness control in the Windows 8 Charms, Settings > Screen slider is working and the Fn + Brightness Up or Brightness Down keys on the keyboard are working too.

On this case the recommendation will be to contact the OEM manufacturer for further assistance, they might need to confirm if your system does support the Widi technology on that specific model.

If you are running Windows 7/8 try disabling hibernation by opening an administrator level command window and typing:

powercfg /H off<enter>

Close the command window and reboot the machine.

Also, if running Windows 8 with a user account tied to online (cloud) services try creating a new user with a local only account and boot the machine into that user.  From there, test the shutdown behavior and see if the delays persist.

Good news: For Windows XP, driver 6.14.10.5436 works for me, whereas 6.14.10.5421 didn't.

(However, the Linux driver seems to have much better 3D performance than the Windows XP driver.)

Please go to the BIOS set up menu> configuration tab> hardware devices and make sure PS/2 is enabled.

You can clear the CMOS battery for 30 minutes and restore defaults in the BIOS. We also recommend testing with a different keyboard to narrow the issue.

If the issue persists it is very possible this is a compatibility issue with this specific keyboard and there is not much that can be done in these cases. Thank you for your understanding.

开机启动老是显示启动一个E盘的什么驱动，而E盘又没有那个驱动程序，然后查了下是什么系统问题 就跟驱动精灵里面把inter RST给卸载了，结果现在inter RST 状态是未启动，选择启动就跳出对话框，大概意思是已经运行，不可以多开。
在驱动精灵里面显示可以升级，但运行安装包，不管是卸载还是修复，都提示安装发生严重错误。

且在系统服务里面找不到Intel(R)RapidStorageTechnology服务。

输入了如下代码：

I had similar problems and after lengthy troubleshooting came to find out that I had to disable my McAfee Firewall. to get WiDi to connect.  I suspect there are settings to try for the firewall, but I haven't figure those out yet.  It is interesting to note that Intel owns WiDi and McAfee but doesn't seem to help getting them working together on fresh installs.

What is the reason for it to only work sometimes? If it works with other laptops on the same setup then I can't see a reason why it shouldn't work with the Samsung, as its the same hdmi connection.

I Know an adapter isn't the optimal solution, however sometimes there is no way around it if e.g a Beamer only supports VGA.

Most likely it's caused by incorrect VRM. You need processor core VRM AHWVRMPM (D45948-xxx) and processor cache VRM AHWVRMCM (D23903-xxx). See TA-813-1: Supported VRM modules for more details.
