Re: DP67BG no boot - POST code 1E

Thanks Victor - I had arrived at this being a possibility because I have bought two of these boards - one of which has just turned up so I installed the CPU etc onto it & it Boots with the 3rd gen i5.

I drilled through the detail of the board/processor support where the spec states a minimum BIOS of 2161 for my SR0P0 so I downloaded BG2209P.BIO

However, I can't seem to update the bios.  I've got the .BIO file on a usb stick & followed the procedures from Intel's BIOS update guide, but nothing happens.  I would have thought the LED on the USB stick would blink as it is being accessed?  But I get nothing.  And I have left it for hours.  I've got no display so can't follow the other routes.

I'm at a loss now as to where I go next.  I'll try putting the .BIO on a DVD & hooking up an optical drive in case the board likes that more.  Otherwise I'm stuffed.  The board was New-Old-Stock from a private seller, so if it is DOA I can't imagine Intel being interested.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've suffered a lot of downtime over this.

Cheers
