Re: DZ77BH-55K Bios update 0097; CPU HOT

I just decided to update to this 0099 bios version.

I did it on two different separate computers. Each has the i7-3770K Ivy Bridge Processor with the DZ77BH-55K Desktop Board, which imho are a perfect match!

I went from 0097 to 0099 this time (originally remember I went from 0057 to 0097 successfully)

As always I specifically used the Recovery BIOS update method.

Strictly I specifically had no PCI slots populated just to avoid any potential conflicts during the flash.

I absolutely also reset the bios back to default Before I flashed, same reasons.

Using the built in HD4000 of the i7 I could watch the process on the monitor as it went through each step of the flash.

In both cases, success, it took about 3 minutes each time.

Yes! ...Success!!!

I also decided to update the USB3.0_Win7_1.0.7.248_PV update they release for this MB too, and that went fine as well.
