Re: Intel WiDi - "There are no adapters detected" immediately

Well removing ZA and reinstalling was easy , after reloading I opened up the WiDi app and Zone Alarm instantly asked me if I wanted to add a new network to the trusted zone , I did trust it and that was it !!

Everything works great now , god knows why Zone decided not to inform me of the network before or why the wireless drivers refused to load correctly, must have been an issue with Zone Alarm ? Never had that before and having had zone for 10 years I know my way around quite well , just so pleased it now works

Thanks for spurring me on Joe , I didn't want to pull zone as it takes a couple of hours or so just to reset all the programs manually but I do prefer to do it that way so it is how I want NOT how zone decides for me

All in all , The WiDi is far better than DLNA , as it allows higher resolutions to be displayed on TV.

I also changed my Adhoc wireless channel via Device Manager for the N6325 wireless card ( look in advanced after right clicking the card/properties under NETWORK ADAPTERS ) to channel 2 , as some had issues using channels above channel 6 with the P2TV1000 adapter .
