Asus N56VM Laptop with Windows 7 X64.
My previous wireless card was an Intel Centrino -N 2230 which produced a download speed of between 50-52 Mbps on 2.4Ghz, Transfer speed of 144 Mbps.
The Ethernet wired connection produces a download speed of 54 Mbps, Transfer speed 1000 Mbps.
With the Intel AC-7260 card fitted it now produces a download speed of 42 Mbps on 5Ghz, Transfer speed of 300Mps, and 32 Mbps on 2.4Ghz, Transfer speed 144 Mbps,
Upload speeds are all constant around 3.10 Mbps with a Ping of10ms.
I have swapped the cards back & forth, followed all recommendations for driver settings etc. and get the same speeds as mentioned above for each card.
I am now certain that it is either the card or the driver of the Intel Dual Band AC-7260, I currently have the driver 17.0.0.34 installed.
Why are there so many people still having major problems\issues with this card and more to the point why have Intel not come up with a creditable fix or solution.?
