I received my DC3217IYE NUC on Friday last week. I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and all the most recent drivers from the Intel website. I also updated the BIOS to the latest.
From the outset I was experiencing very poor networking performance. Downloads of large files from the Internet would keep stalling and YouTube clips would keep buffering. This didn't occur with any of the other systems on my home network.
Whilst Googling for this problem, I came across another thread on the Intel Support Communities which suggested it was due to having a display connected to the HDMI port closest to the ethernet port. I switched the connection to the other HDMI port and the networking problems vanished immediately.
